Few things spoil an aesthetic result as thoroughly as a black triangle between teeth. This surgical volume, in English, approaches interdental papilla reconstruction from periodontal microsurgery: it describes the anatomy of the papilla at the natural tooth, next to the implant and beneath the pontic, and develops the IPAC technique in three steps, from incision to suture. The documented cases combine surgery with orthodontics, regenerative therapy and prosthetics, and incorporate a classification based on the contact relationship between the base of the pontic and the alveolar crest. Aimed at the periodontist and the clinician trained in microsurgery who wishes to bring these workflows into the surgery.
