Unfolding la Periimplantitis

The Spanish version of the treatise edited by Alberto Monje and Hom-Lay Wang on the complication that today conditions long-term maintenance in implantology. It begins by establishing the scale of the problem and the diagnostic tools available, describes the critical dimensions of the peri-implant tissues in health and in disease and analyses the local, systemic, genetic and epigenetic factors involved. The second half is therapeutic: primary and secondary prevention, pharmacological adjuncts, decontamination of the implant surface, resective surgery, reconstructive therapy with the EP-DDS protocol and soft tissue conditioning.
