Addressed to dentists, stomatologists and maxillofacial surgeons, the volume places snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea within a prior account of human sleep and its disorders. The author separates the paediatric approach from the adult one and specifies in each case what the dentist's role is. Medical and surgical alternatives are reviewed as necessary context, while the clinical weight falls on oral appliances and on the BioSleep-Flores device proposed by Rodríguez Flores himself.
