The deep intraosseous defect remains one of the most demanding scenarios in periodontics. Leonardo Trombelli and his collaborators put forward simplified regenerative procedures, surgical and non-surgical, with criteria for assessing patient and defect, the selection of instruments and materials, and evidence-based step-by-step protocols. A substantial part of the volume is given over to the single flap approach, a technique the group itself has progressively refined in order to simplify the surgery. The format is that of an atlas: clinical and radiographic photography for every procedure, with video of real operations in several surgical sections. It serves the experienced periodontist and the newcomer to regeneration alike.
